应我院邀请，10月30-31日，宾夕法尼亚州立大学陈治柏教授在砺志楼114会议室为我院师生做了两场学术报告，相关老师和部分研究生聆听了这两场报告，报告都由赖春晖教授主持。

10月30日，陈教授作了一场题为《On k-pairable graphs》的学术报告，报告会上，陈教授主要介绍了“main results on k-pairable graphs”、“ some recent joint work with Zhongyuan Che.”、“ Some topics and open problems for further study on k-pairable graphs”等内容。

10月31日，陈教授作了一场题为《Polynomials, Prime Numbers and Permutations》的学术报告，报告会上，陈教授主要介绍了“some results on polynomial representations for functions”、“an application of polynomial representations”、“some results on decomposition of a cyclic permutation as transpositions”等内容。最后，陈教授和在场的师生进行了亲切地交流。

陈治柏，1982年毕业于新疆大学，1986年去美国匹兹堡大学学习，1991年获美国匹兹堡大学数学博士学位，目前在宾夕法尼亚州立大学 - 大亚利根尼校区任教授。主要从事组合数学、图论及其在理论化学的应用的研究，陈治柏教授是国际期刊IRSN Discrete Mathematics的编委。
